We worked closely with the landowner, The Thonnock and Somerby Estate to deliver this scheme. The scheme is at the entrance to a 250 plot residential scheme to the rear of the site. The scheme totalled 10,000 sq. ft. with Spar / AF Blakemore occupying the 4,000 sq. ft. foodstore. There are a further five retail units totalling 6,000 sq. ft. three of which have been let.
The investment was sold to a private investor in Dec 2012.
This former garage site, whilst extremely prominent, was slightly smaller than usually occupied by a convenience store. The store extends to approximately 3,338 sq. ft. and with thoughtful design, the site has been utilised to maximize the visibility of the store to the passing traffic and pedestrians.
This investment was sold to a syndicate of private investors in February 2013.
