Tillbridge worked closely with Scottish and Newcastle to develop surplus land adjacent to The Oxclose public house. Tillbridge started work in January, 2013 on the development of a Tesco Express Store in a vernacular ‘Arts and Craft’ style.
Our proposal for Newmarket comprises a 4,000sq ft. convenience foodstore, two further 1,000 sq. ft. units and 6 residential dwellings to the rear of the site. The site is immediately adjacent to the Newmarket Health Centre. Planning consent was originally refused against the recommendations of the Planning Officers. We have appealed the decision and currently await a decision.
This opportunity comprises the redevelopment of a 5.5 acre site to provide a 25,000 sq. ft. foodstore, a new surgery, a retirement scheme and a new garden centre. Plans are currently being prepared, ahead of a public exhibition in March.
